Recreation Passport
The Recreation Passport is required for vehicle access to state parks and recreation areas, state-managed boating access sites, state forest campgrounds, thousands of miles of trails and other outdoor spaces – all year long! Learn how to get it, where it can take you and what it supports at Michigan.gov/RecreationPassport.
Hours
Harbor: Check-in for harbor arrivals start at 1 p.m. and checkout is 11 a.m.
Operating dates: May 15 to October 15. Reservations limited the last two weeks of July due to Port Huron/Chicago sail boat races.
Special rules
Fireworks are prohibited.
Harbor amenities
day-use dockage, dog run, electric (30AMP and 50AMP) and water available at slip, grills, picnic tables, wi-fi, pump-out, recycle bins and trash receptacles, restrooms, and showers.
Alcohol
Possession of alcoholic beverages by minors is strictly prohibited.
Pets
Pets must always be on a 6-foot leash and under an owner’s immediate control.
All pet waste must be properly disposed of in trash receptacles.
Don't move firewood!
Tree killers could be just one bundle of firewood away. Invasive insects and diseases have destroyed MILLIONS OF TREES in Michigan – often after hitching a ride on firewood.
Hauling firewood, even a short distance, from one part of the state to another is a common way for these invasive species to infest new locations. Please purchase only certified heat-treated firewood sold in state parks, local stores and roadside stands.
